Office of co-investigating judges
The Office of the Co-Investigating Judges (OCIJ) is a judicial office responsible for investigating crimes related to senior leaders of Democratic Kampuchea and those most responsible for crimes and serious violations during the period from 17 April 1975 to 6 January 1979.1

The Office is composed of one Cambodian investigating judge and one foreign investigating judge. Disagreements between the co-investigating judges about the conduct of an investigation are settled by the Pre-Trial Chamber.
