PUBLIC AFFAIRS
SECTION
The Public Affairs Section (“PAS”) is responsible for disseminating information to the public regarding the Extraordinary Chambers.1 The Section serves as the public face of the ECCC and supports the public representation of all its sections.
THE PUBLIC AFFAIRS SECTION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Undertaking victim outreach alongside the Victims Support Section and civil party lead co-lawyers 2
- Keeping the public informed regarding investigations 3
- Correcting misleading information in the public domain 4
