The role of the Office of Administration (OA) is to
support, service and administer the chambers and
judicial offices in the performance of their functions.

The Office of Administration is also responsible for:
- Security, in accordance with the Supplementary Agreement regarding Safety and Security
- Provision of equipment, facilities, management, informationtechnology, supplies, vehicles, transportation and other physical and administrative requirements of the ECCC, in accordance with the Supplementary Agreement regarding Utilities, Facilities and Services
- Serving as an official channel for internal and external communications of the ECCC, without prejudice to the roles of the judicial offices and chambers
- Maintaining the case file and providing access to copies, as appropriate
- Preserving, storing and securing evidence
- Coordinating training
