Invitation to a press conference on results of the special review (see Full report, Summary, TOR, DOA remarks, EC Statement, UNDP Statement)

The Project Board of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) is pleased to invite members of the media to a press conference on the results of the Human Resources Management Review. The press conference will be held at

9:00 to 10:30 on Friday 25 April 2008
at the ECCC Information Centre
6A, St 21, Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Khan Chamkar Mon, Phnom Penh,
(near Psar Kap Ko)

Members of the Project Board, namely, H.E. Sean Visoth, the ECCC Director of Administration, Mr. Jo Scheuer, UNDP Country Director, and Mr. Rafael Dochao-Moreno, Charge d' Affaires of the EC Delegation to Cambodia will be present at the press conference.

The review was initiated by the Board and carried out in late February 2008 by a team of consultants from Deloitte/ India, and from Cambodia. The review assessed whether the HR management policies and practices of the Cambodian side of ECCC are transparent, accountable, meet international standards, and provide consistent and effective measures against any mismanagement.

The full results of the report will be introduced during the press conference and a summary of the findings will be made available there.
