Victims Support Section and Civil Party Lawyers have traveled to Kandal province from 4-7 June 2024 alongside the ECCC’s Mobile Resource Centre Outreach Program to notify remaining Civil Parties of Case 002 about the judicial results of their case and the ECCC’s residual functions and gave them a book of summary judgement and a certificate. We notified 15 Civil Parties at four high schools, namely Hun Sen Serepheap, Chheyavaraman 7, Hun Sen Ksach Kandal and Prek Sleng.
The Civil Parties also went on a guided tour of the ECCC’s mobile resource centre and the exhibition of posters of the ECCC’s chronological events. They also had conversations with students who participated in the outreach programme.
More trips to meet with other Civil Parties alongside the ECCC’s Mobile Resource Centre Outreach Program will be conducted in different provinces in the upcoming months.
