New Zealand makes additional contribution to ECCC

The Government of New Zealand has confirmed a new contribution of NZD$ 100,000 (approximately US$ 80,000) to the international component of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). With this latest contribution, New Zealand has provided financial assistance for a total of  NZD$  900,000 to the ECCC.

In a letter to the ECCC, HE Ambassador Bede Corry stated that the latest contribution “is intended to demonstrate New Zealand’s continued support for the judicial work of the Tribunal”.

“We are thankful for the continued support of New Zealand, which has been supporting the ECCC financially since the Court’s inception in 2006”, said Acting Director of the Office of Administration, H.E. Tony Kranh and Deputy Director Mr. Knut Rosandhaug in a statement.
