Participants included national Co-Prosecutor Ms. Chea Leang, Defence Counsel Mr.Kang Ritheary, S-21 Survivors Mr. Chum Mey and Bou Meng and Lars Olsen and Dim Sovannarom from the Public Affairs Section.

Sir Michael Tugendhat, High Court Judge of the Queen's Bench from the UK visits the court and has a series of meetings with court officials.

The Trial Chamber judges completed their questioning of Nuon Chea and the Co-Prosecutors was then given to floor to put further questions to the accused. In the afternoon, the Trial Chamber continued to hear witness Long Norin via video link.
All three accused persons in Case 002 addressed the Trial Chamber during the hearing on 13 December 2011.
The Trial Chamber started to hear evidence in Case 002 on Monday 5 December 2011. Nuon Chea was questioned by the the Trial Chamber Judges. 
971 visitors followed the second day of opening statements in Case 002 against Nuon Chea, Khieu Samphan and Ieng sary.
More 900 people followed the first day of opening statements at the ECCC court house on 21 Nov 2011.
All 482 seats in the public gallery of the courtroom was occupied during the Trial Chamber hearing on 19 October.
The ECCC Public Affairs Section gave a lecture about the ongoing trial proceedings and answered questions from 1,500 students at Pon Teuk High School on Friday 14 October 2011. 
66 students from 11th and 12th grade of the International School of Phnom Penh visited the ECCC on 6 October. They discussed "Theory of knowledge" with Judge Rowan Downing, Deputy Prosecutor William Smith and Nuon Chea's international co-lawyer Mr. Michiel Pestman.
350 people from Koh Kong, mainly Cham Muslims, participated in the ECCC Study Tour  on 5 October 2011. 
25 volunteers from the US Peace Corps visited the ECCC where they met with Legal Communications Officer Lars Olsen.
300 people from Russei Keo district on the outskirts of Phnom Penh participated in ECCC's one day Study Tour Programme.
