400 students from Bantey Meanchey visited the ECCC as part of the ECCC study tour program. The students were briefed by Mr. Reach Sambath, Chief of Public Affairs Secton about the ongoing trial proceedings.

The Victims Support Section (VSS) of the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) will hold the forth Regional Civil Party Forum Case 002 at Kampong Chhnang Province.
The purpose of the Regional Forum is to promote victims’ participation by providing a safe venue and opportunity for Civil Parties (CPs) from those provinces
- To meet Civil Party Lawyers to discuss their rights at the trial stage, as well as, to generate ideas from Civil Parties on collective reparations in order to formulate their civil claim;

At the court they met with Acting Director of Administartion, H.E. Tony Kranh who gave a briefing about status of operations at the ECCC.

The ECCC Public Affairs Section gave a lecture about the mandate and work of of the ECCC to about 5,000 students at Sisowath high school in Phnom Penh. 510 students from Vel Ring School in Kampong Som participated in the ECCC Study Tour, where they visited the Court and the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum.

More than 1,000 people attended an ECCC movie screening in Kampong Som province. The screening was organized in ccoperation with the Bophana Center. Ms Phung-Guth Sunthary who is a Civil Party in Case 001 and the main character in the movie "About my father" participated and responded to questions from the attendants.
