The Court Report May 2010

The May 2010 issue of the Court Report features the Trial Chamber's announcement that a judgement will be handed down on 26 July 2010. The verdict will be the first ever for the ECCC since it became operational in February 2006. The report also features information on a new funding pledge for US$16.5 million, announced at a conference in New York on 25 May 2010, and the Pre-Trial Chamber's decision to dismiss a series of appeals against the provisional detention of Ieng Sary, Ieng Thirith and Khieu Samphan. Finally, the report commemorates a visit by 37 former war correspondents, who worked in Cambodia during the 1970s.
