After the completion of our mission and processing the residual functions, the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC) offers the opportunities to the national/international undergraduate students of year two and above in the various fields of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Media and Communication, History of Khmer Rouge, or Legal Proceedings of the Tribunal (ECCC) to undertake their internship training as provided in the internship program attached below in the unique environment of the ECCC within relevant units such as the Resources Centre or Outreach Activities or the Supreme Court Chamber. Under this program, the interns will be given training of legal research on the specific topics of their inclination and interests in order to enhance their institutional and theoretical knowledge and also be experiencing the practices of International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, Moot Court, Judiciary Proceedings and Residual Mechanism after the conclusion of legal proceeding and the practical work within the relevant units of the ECCC. TERM OF REFERENCE FOR LEGAL INTERNSHIP
DURATION
- The duration of internship is three (3) months and could extend to six (6) months.
- The intern is expected to work full-time (five days a week except official holidays).
- The substantial stipends will be provided (National Intern Only).

The application must include the following documentation:
- A cover letter briefly explaining the reasons for applying to the ECCC internship program and what is expected from the experiences.
- A duly completed ECCC internship application form.
- A copy of most recent curriculum vitae; and
- A copy of university/school transcript or written outstanding academic performance confirmed by the university rector.
