The Court Report January 2010

The January 2010 issue of the Court Report features a story on the conclusion of judicial investigations for Case 002. Charges have now been laid out against Ieng Sary, Ieng Thirith, Khieu Samphan and Nuon Chea after two and a half years of investigations, and charges against the four senior Khmer Rouge leaders have been extended to include genocide against the Cham Muslims and the Vietnamese. The ECCC has also been awarded a prize for the "Most Innovative Use of Technology during a Trial", and has presented its budget requirements to donors in New York for the 2010-2011 period.
